CANDLE CARE & BURNING INSTRUCTIONS

CANDLE CARE

SOY WAX CANDLES NEED A LITTLE EXTRA TLC TO ENSURE A GREAT BURN!

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MCC CANDLES!

·       TO ENSURE AN EVEN BURN / MINIMIZE THE WAX LEFT ON THE SIDES, BURN THE CANDLE UNTIL THE WAX POOL REACHES THE EDGE OF THE JAR. (USUALLY ABOUT ONE HOUR PER INCH OF DIAMETER). THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT ON YOUR FIRST BURN ASCANDLES HAVE A "MEMORY".

·       TRIM YOUR WICK TO 1/4" BEFORE EVERY BURN! THIS WILL HELP TO PREVENT SOOT, SMOKE AND RUINING YOUR CANDLE. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANTSTEP THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED.

·       TRY TO AVOID BURNING YOUR CANDLE FOR LONGER THAN 4 HOURS AT ATIME! THIS WILL CAUSE TOO LARGE OF A FLAME AND WILL REDUCE THE LIFESPAN OF THE CANDLE. IF YOU NOTICE YOUR FLAME IS LARGE / DANCING, EXTINGUISH, LET COOL AND TRIM THE WICK BEFORE EVERY BURN!

·       GLASS CONTAINERS ARE FRAGILE: HANDLE WITH CARE. AVOID GLASS TOGLASS CONTACT WHEN HANDLING THE LID, AND DON’T USE JARS THAT ARE CRACKED,CHIPPED OR SCRATCHED.

·       DISCONTINUE WHEN 1/2″ OF WAX REMAINS, OR WHEN THE CANDLE WILL NOLONGER STAY LIT  AS GLASS MAY SHATTER.

·       EXTINGUISH CAREFULLY BEFORE REPLACING THE LID.

·       SOY CANDLES TEND TO HAVE A FLAKY CRUSTY APPEARANCE ON THE TOPSONCE THEY HAVE BEEN BURNED, THIS IS NORMAL.

·       SOY WAX CANDLES GENTLY RELEASE THEIR SCENT. BE PATIENT WITH THE INITIAL BURN, AND AFTER THAT IF IF YOU FEEL LIKE THE FRAGRANCE IS NO LONGER NOTICEABLE, LEAVE THE AREA FORA MOMENT AND RE ENTER. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
