Candle + Room Spray Workshop
Come pour, blend, and create with us at the Market Candle Company Creative Studio.
During this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore our fragrance library and create a custom scent that feels completely your own. Once you’ve landed on your perfect blend, you’ll use it to make two custom home fragrance products to take home:

One full-size soy candle

One room spray
With 35+ fragrances to choose from, you can keep things simple with a single favourite or experiment with different notes to create something totally unique.
Our team will guide you through the entire process — from scent blending and fragrance ratios to pouring your candle and finishing your room spray. No experience needed.
Workshops run approximately 2 hours and include light refreshments. After your workshop, you’ll also receive 15% off shopping in our showroom next door.

Please arrive approximately 5 minutes early to get settled so we can begin right at 6:30 PM.
No physical ticket is required. Your name will be on our guest list, and you’ll receive a reminder email the day before your workshop with the details you need for your visit.
Cancellation + Transfer Policy
Due to the nature of our small business, workshop preparations begin several days in advance. Refreshments are ordered and paid for ahead of time, materials are prepared based on attendance, and once a workshop has launched and tickets have been sold, it can be difficult for us to refill last-minute cancellations.
For this reason, all workshop tickets are non-refundable.
If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another available workshop of the same price point value (collab workshops excluded) with a minimum of 3 business days’ notice prior to your scheduled workshop.
Unfortunately, cancellations or transfer requests received within 3 business days of the workshop cannot be accommodated.

Every Market Candle Company product is made in small batches in Newmarket, Ontario.
We focus on high-quality ingredients, clean-burning soy wax, cotton wicks, and carefully blended fragrance oils. Our scents are designed to be noticeable but never overwhelming - subtle, layered, and easy to live with.
Each piece is created to feel elevated yet approachable, made for everyday moments, thoughtful gifting, and spaces that feel like home.
BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
For a safe and consistent burn, please follow these simple guidelines:
• Trim the wick to 1/4" before each use
• Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn (approximately 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling
• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
• Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains
Always burn on a heat-safe surface and never leave a candle unattended.
Candle performance depends on proper care. Following these instructions helps ensure an even burn, optimal scent throw, and the best overall experience.
